Different window installed, job not completed, rubbish left over ours and neighbours drives. The job was three times as expensive as quoted due to “finding things that needed renewing". They worked quickly to get the job done, but unfortunately, they were messy, leaving debris everywhere, blocking our drive, including batons with protruding nails on the pavement, they did not make good the damaged surrounding area of the window. We had to unnail batons , rip up and bag membrane and rubble. Not recommend .

Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.

I logged my job (new guttering and associated fixtures), needing an economically friendly quote and very quick completion. Swale Roofing offered both, and the resulting work has changed the appearance of my house, so much for the better. Mr Parrish was very personable, worked in a tidy fashion and delivered to his word. I am very pleased and look forward to living with my new guttering.

Within 24hrs of the initial telephone call I had had a visit and received an email quote, the work was carried out on time and the final invoice was reduced to reflect the fact that certain work was not necessary (Mr Millins pointed this out) and the cost was removed from the bill. Would use again and recommend to friends. HGreat find.

I was very impressed with Billy and his colleagues. They were professional, friendly, polite, helpful and reliable. Billy talked me through the problems he found with my roof and gave me several options and prices. We agreed the work and the dates to start and despite the terrible 'Best from the East' weather he managed to complete the job in a good time. I was impressed at the quality of work (very neat) and the tidying up afterwards. Thank you Billy & friends for an excellent job well done!

Barry came out to give the quote when he said he would. Really nice chap. Gave him the job. He and his "mate" (can remember the other guys name), came out when they said they would. Did a good job, and tied up behind themselves. I'd use Barry again.

We used Ervins to design and build a bespoke radiator cover, encompassing a shoe rack, in our hallway and to make and fit various shelving units around our home. He was personable, prompt and reliable throughout our dealing with him and provided a service that was excellent value for money. James Butler also trades as CGS Landscapes. He paved my driveway with poor quality slabs in September 2024 blaming the manufacturer and not himself. More broken slabs has been replaced by him 3 times in 6 months. He has refused to respond to my calls. He texted back calling me. STUPID when I texted him to say I will report him to RatedPeople and the authorities. More slabs broke 2 days ago. Sent him the picture. He simply texted back: MOVED TO DEVON NO LONGER WORKING. Please don’t hire James Butler.
