Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.

Did a good job quickly at a reasonable price, lower than other quotes and was pleasant to deal with. Only criticism is that after waiting some time after the original booking when I thought perhaps he wasn’t coming, I had to text him to find out he was running late. Would have appreciated an earlier notification so I could have popped out had I wanted to. Otherwise full marks
