Not worth 5 star rating, in my opinion. Cancelled appointment 30 minutes before due time. Came out twice, first time to take a look, second time to bring sample. Said he would get back to with price with expected start next week. Heard nothing, he finally answered one of my texts saying didn't reply as materials had gone up and the job would cost another £1000. Did not even have the courtesy of letting me decide if it was too much to pay or to choose something less expensive. Very disappointed.

He completed a re rendering job and damp prevention job on my bay window. Explained exactly what he was going to do and why. Completed the job in a day and everything was neat and well done. It's that time of year.roofing guttering and repair. I have 28 years experience in the building trade. I started out training as a stonemason which lead to general building and am qualified in both. I am very pleased with the work done by JMR. The tradesmen were pleasant and happy to make any changes or additions to the original plans, with the approval of James (the boss). Nic did an amazing job of the plastering, and Tristan applied his many skills to the build. The estimate was reasonable, and was also the final price charged for the original plan. James charged a fair price for the extra work I requested, and was open to discussion on any aspect of the build. A job well done.
