We hired Cani Building Services to replace the front stairs and pathway of our Victorian home with granite pavers in the spring of 2025. Leroy quoted around £1000 and would only do the job for cash. He said he did not believe in paying tax and that his accountant says he only need to pay tax on earnings over £80,000! As for me I pay tax. And I sleep at night :)

James was hired to fit 5 internal doors. It took him 3 days, and the work was careless, lazy, and full of mistakes, excuses, lies and frustration. He blamed the doors, house, locks, anything but himself. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after he left I was able to fix —by myself— issues that he tried to gaslight me into believing it was the best possible outcome. I suspect his "27 years of experience" was made up, and the problem was nothing but absolute lack of skill, care and work ethic.

Hollands Contractors were great, easy to deal with and acted professionally throughout. Job was probably not a standard one but chatting through with Kieren what was required on initial site visit , the estimate was fair and arrived promptly . Through to start date Kieren also kept in contact which was appreciated. Job was completed within agreed time frame and to the expected standard. Kieren arrived on time each day and worked hard and would happily recommend.
