Sylvester arranged and managed the refitting of my kitchen - plastering, plumbing, cabinets, tiling. Even Replacing joists and floorboards (I had a wood worm problem). We could not be happier with the result and Sylvesters accommodating attitude towards much unexpected/unplanned work all carried out within quoted timeframe. Could not rate him higher! As an electrician he refitted a few of our lights and provided a valid certificate for all work done. Very professional and tidy.

Had issues with Kris from the beginning. Agreed a quote of £600 for 30 squares. First day came down spent 3 hours and all that was lad was 6squares of underlay . Equipment didn’t work. second day did around 8 squares of laminate flooring was always out at the car. Third day he’d started at 8:30 but at around 10 he started talking about additional costs which he did not raise in the beginning. So I asked him to leave and paid him for work completed. Work ok but slow but would not trust as could cost you.

matt did kitchen worktops for me. his work is to the highest standard, and i shall not hesitate in calling him again. as a local builder myself i shall recommend him to others. the job i asked him to do for me, was not straight forward, quite a few complications, but he overcame them all to do an excellent job.

very good, they were on time, and they even waited for me to go to Ikea and get an extra part due to Ikea missing parts in the package. Would definitely recommend their services.

Graham arrived exactly when he said he would, with all the necessary materials to lay our bathroom slate floor and ceramic wall tiles. He then fixed a plasterboard problem that was not his to fix, before getting on with his tiling job. He worked 4 days solidly, right through to Sunday, to complete the job to our deadline, without any complaint or extra weekend charge. Our tiles look beautiful and I can't wait to use our new bathroom. I wish our builder was as helpful and reliable!! Thank you Graham.

Matt Belchamber did an absolutely brilliant job on our cliff top garden under the most arduous weather conditions in the Spring of 2014. In association with the garden designer he recommended to us (Bo Cook of Alitura) he transformed the garden from a modest patch of lawn and borders into a work of art. He started on time (when the winds were blowing at hurricane force) and completed the work on time, keeping us fully informed all the way. We cannot recommend Matt too highly.

First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. The work completed to an excellent standard well within the parameters in my Rated People enquiry. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. James was a friendly individual and a good communicator who responded promptly to any enquiry about the job. He kept us regularly informed of when he would be attending the property to progress the repairs. His quote was most reasonable and we were pleased with the completed works.
