When they started work they were always punctual and extremely hard working whle at the same time being very pleasant and incredibly helpful, trustworthy and clean, too - they vacuumed at the end of each day. Szilard is clearly a perfectionist and he and Josef wouldn't finish each day until they achieved the highest standards in their work.
