G&J Building maintenance were prompt coming around for a quote, and came prepared (based on the information I provided in the problem description) with everything necessary to do the job. Their quote for the work was well within what I had budgeted for and they carried out the job there and then. They even fixed another small problem that they spotted for no extra charge. Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.
