Father and son (both Jim), did a brilliant job of re-pointing our garden wall. Always on time, very polite and respectful of our property. They worked all day and finished the job in the time they forecast. We are delighted with the work and couldn't recommend them more - you won't be disappointed.

It's that time of year.roofing guttering and repair. I have 28 years experience in the building trade. I started out training as a stonemason which lead to general building and am qualified in both. Please see pics for examples of some of my work. I will take on work ranging from small maintenance jobs up to extensions and house builds and anything in between. Brick/stone walls, rendering, fencing, patios, garage conversions, roof repairs to name a few. Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.

The quote was better than expected. The builders were very clean and tidy each day. The work was completed despite the weather conditions not being perfect. The finished walls were to a high standard when compared to other nearby residential properties that have been recently pointed. I would recommend this company to anyone asking for a similar job request. My neighbours have asked for contact details of the builder after seeing the work completed.

Martin was quick to make contact with me and arrange a time to quote. He came to my house with his wife and they were able to give me really good advice and a quote on the spot which was appreciated. I didn't use Martin on this occasion more due to my own timings then anything else but would certainly look to contact him in the future for any other jobs required.

Very pleased with newly installed sliding patio doors. The 2 gentlemen who installed it, were polite,friendly and helpful. They left the area clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the lock, and they duly reported it to Louis Harbison. He came today to replace it but the barrel of the lock seems ok now. He is keeping the replacement barrel in case I have any more trouble. I would recommend this company for any work to be done
