At no time were you told not to tile that area, that is absurd, why would we want an area not tiled. On the quote it was stated that you would remove old tiles and make good walls, having spoken to 4 companies since they all stated the same, this would mean plastering the same, we paid extra for this. Something to be considered when writing your quotes. The receipts for materials, second amount, never materialised. You were paid in full regardless.

Ojr did an excellent job under challenging circumstances on the plastering job I had. They worked very closely with me to ensure the job was done well including working an additional day to ensure work was to the highest standard. Would recommend.

They arrived on time and did a good job overall. However, I was disappointed that the final charge was higher than the agreed fixed price, despite all the job details being provided upfront. The contractor was also invited to view the site before quoting, so the unexpected increase felt unfair

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend them and we have just agreed to a further round of work for them to undertake as we are so pleased.

Matt provided us with a professional service from start to finish. A very good job of plasterboarding and boxing in my pipework in the bath room , plastering bare wall and skimming the others. Also he left the rest of the house clean and tidy by using dust sheets properly. I can recommend Matt

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

Do not trust this man! He did a runner without completing the work, and the work completed is shoddy. Avoid like the plague, and save yourself the headache

When we requested the roof to be upgraded there were no leaks anywhere. When it rained we had water coming in the bedroom this we thought was because of work they had done on roof. They are supposed experts on flat roofing, and it took them three visits to find the problem. We thought we we getting quality workmen going through Rated People, but again hit problems.

The tradesmen only came to see the job and never turned up for the job. No replies to text messages or calls. Not reliable as there is no communication from him.

Liam came to sort my leaking roof on 1/11/19. Claimed there was more loose tiles on roof and charged me extra to put all of them in place- no pictures provided to prove this, like what other roofers do. Didn’t give me a receipt and promised to email this together with a 5 year guarantee he promised me for paying xtra. He ignored my texts and has now blocked my number. I’d never use him again and not I’m not even sure he even fixed the leak. Unprofessional, disgusting and don’t recommend. Wasted my £200.

Didnt turn up to quote twice. Then only wanted to do the part of the job not requiring planning approval. Tried to talk me into getting the work done then putting in the drop kerb at a later date (pointless as I still wouldnt have any legal access to the drive!) not that I had any confidence in him returning to do the 2nd part anyway. Would not hire this company.

We booked a complete bathroom installation, initial contact and price was good, however he never turned up on the agreed day to do the job. We left numerous messages and emails...none have been responded to. Completely wasted our time!

Kevin sounded very good on the phone so i booked him to come over a few days later. he never showed up. i phoned him and he didn't answer, then at 5;30 (he was meant to be here at 5) called to say he wont be able to make it. we rearranged for a few days later. he never showed up or called. Obviously i can't say anything about the quality of his work, as i never had the opportunity to use his service, but if you definitely need a job done and a tradesman that will show up- i suggest you look elsewhere. .
