First time I have used rated people website and had just 1 reply. Apple Carpentry though have been great. We needed to have 2 large windows in a 1930s house replaced but didn't want to have UPVC. Communication from the Company was excellent and the finished product is outstanding. We would definitely recommend them to anybody wishing to have a high quality joinery project completed. Our windows look amazing and are exact copy of the old frames and they also managed to use the original lead glass.

Had PunchLine in to do a number of jobs from hanging new doors, new skirting, new door frames, lots of bespoke work like building wardrobes, building cupboards and the work that was done was to the highest standard. PunchLine were punctual, polite, helpful, highly skilled and I would use them time and time again. Could not recommend these guys enough, hire them and you will not be disappointed.

Craig and his team (Carne, Jason and the carpenters) were excellent. They were friendly, hard-working and tidy. They coped with unforeseen issues very competently. The communication between trades and with ourselves was very good. We have no hesitation in recommending them and will use them again.

We had water damage to our bedroom ceiling and down stairs wall. Kyle came out and sorted the problem. From start to finish Kyle was absolutely incredible nothing was too much trouble he offered friendly advice and gave an explanation as to everything he did. I can’t recommend him enough the work he has done is top notch.

Ethan was a pleasure to deal with. Arrived on time to inspect my roof and provide a quote there and then. Took time to explain what work would be required. He was able to fit me in before his holiday by kindly offering to work on a Sunday. The work was completed to a high standard and also carried out some remedial pointing that I had not yet been able to sort myself. Ethan was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Dan responded quickly to my job posting, looked at the job and sent a very reasonable quote on the same day. The work was first class, he did a great job of rebuilding the wall and left the site very clean and tidy. I will definitely be using Dan for any future work of this nature.

It is always a scary prospect to use someone you haven’t used before. If that is you let me put your mind at rest. From the first contact Richard was superb and on job day punctual, polite and tidy. The paint job was excellent and they even did a little extra filling where needed. I would highly recommend J &R and it’s not just painting they do lots of things. I’ll definitely use them again.
