This is a new partnership and the first time they had used Rated People. Initially they were busy but I said I would wait. Lee Masters rang to ask if I still need the work doing, which I did. He arrived promptly, was extremely polite, efficient, good work, good value, neat and tidy. Although only a small job, will use them again. Can recommend following this experience.

Outstanding - it's as simple as that. Honest, diligent and real craftsmen who take the time to explain everything beforehand to ensure you get exactly what you want. Very competitively priced, they proved willing to go the extra mile and have true pride in their work. Reliable and very personable, they work hard to ensure a minimum of disruption and dirt/dust is carried through during the work. Jimmy came round to give us a quote very soon after we had asked for a workman. We needed soundproofing on two floors and carpets and underlay fitted on two floors and the stairwells plus landings. His workmanship and professionalism were excellent. He is extremely reliable and we would have no hesitation is recommending him. We were very pleased with the result and found him to be extremely helpful and efficient.

Job done in a friendly and considerate way, and we liked the result. Issues which arose (e.g. water coming through ceiling below two evenings after they'd left) were rectified, and snags at the end were dealt with promptly. Cleaning up was fairly good but not perfect - tiles needed quite a bit of further scraping, scouring and buffing to remove traces of grout and adhesive. But altogether perfectly satisfied that we got what we paid for.
