I was looking for a plasterer to do my son's room before painting it and so was confused when James approached me for the job. He is a decorator. He said that plastering the walls was unnecessary because my walls were "90% there". He said filling, sanding and painting them would save me money and time so I agreed to hire him. So much went wrong and ultimately he left my walls in a state. Cheekily he asked to be paid before finishing. I fell for it and now he has done a runner!

I hired Adam to plaster and decorate my 2 bed flat. He is a fantastic tradesman. He worked consistently over the time period he had given and managed to finish the job on the day he said he would. This made our lives so much easer and allowed us to organise the rest of the work. Additionally, his finish was great and all aspects of the job were completed as he said they would be. Adam was brilliant and I couldn’t recommend him enough. It is so rare to find an honest tradesman like Adam in London.

As a full time firefighter I compliment this role by being a fully qualified plasterer with certificates up to NVQ level 3. I also hold a teaching qualification in plastering. Laurence’s workmanship was excellent:. The job was to skim a heavily Artexed ceiling and to feather in at the edges to avoid changing the coving and yet leave a nice edge profile visible on the coving. I waited to post a rating so that I could see the ceiling dry and apply a mist (dilute) coat of paint to the plaster. That reveals any issues. I’m pleased to say the quality is excellent -no problems at all and will be working with Laurence in the future.
