Mike and his son are first class professionals. My new doors were carefully positioned and due to the quality build, only some planing of surfaces was needed for wardrobe doors. . He was able to come in desired week, as other jobs had gone well and was here for 6 hours of continuous work. The only trace of his presence were some wood shavings and slivers of wood in the communal yard, where much of the work was done. The Woodyard said this was the going rate. It may require the Council to remove old doors as private sector not showing interest so far.

I went for Huttons as he was the better rated and experienced of the other quotes. We are very pleased with the bookcase. We did have a number of hiccups and this is where I rate them best. Without complaint, issues were sorted out / corrected - I was not left in any way feeling awkward or anything. Often I think it is how a tradesman responds to the hiccups that sets them apart from the others, as not every job is smooth. That is why I would highly recommend them, because if you do have an issue, I can assure you it will be sorted out.
