B&H Brickwork undertook a large project at our house, comprising two storey extension, with approx 8,000 facing bricks and 3,000 blocks. From the first site visit, they seemed to know their trade very well, and that has proved to be the case. The quality of their workmanship is extremely high (they have managed to re-create many of the detailed brickwork features of the original house). In addition, they have done much more than you might expect on site - they're punctual (whatever the weather), they keep everything very neat and tidy, and they're always ready to provide helpful advice and guidance. We feel very lucky to have found them, their hard work and helpful approach has made a large project very straightforward. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others, and would happily provide more detailed references etc if needed.

I used the Rated People website for the first time when the recent bad winds damaged our fences. Although I posted the request on a Sunday night - I was amazed when Ash responded an hour later, following up promptly with a call the next morning. Ash completed the work that same week. He stayed in full contact with us throughout, with updates and details whilst the work was under way. The response and communication was amazing, workmanship was top quality, and the costs very fair. Paul did a fantastic job of painting our front room. The room needed a considerable amount of "making good" before painting (sanding down the wood, filling the wood and plaster) and he spent his time making sure this was done well. The painting was then top quality, and it included delicately painting our ornate cornice. We have since asked Paul to do further decorating for us, including putting up a picture rail, skirting board, fixing wooden floor boards and more painting. He is excellent at his job, careful, professional and reliable. I have already recommended him to friends and would recommend him to anyone looking on this site. He ticks all the boxes of quality, value and reliability.
