We're so delighted that we went with TBC. TBC completed major works on our property - structural works, full electrics/re-wiring, plumbing, tiling, decorating, new flooring, new bathroom etc. etc. TBC were so professional throughout and had all the relevant knowledge with regards to certificates and approvals needed. John and the team did an outstanding job. It was easy to work with John and he was very knowledgeable, and provided very sensible advice. Other people quoted work which was over-the-top or wouldn't have solved the problem but John got right to the issue in a no-nonsense way. Mark was great at the outset - very responsive and keen to help, seemly went out of his way to get the job done and even saved us money in the process, I have unfortunately had to revise my rating down to two stars. Having completed the job and been paid upfront we were then completely let down by Mark who failed to come back and fix various snags including replacing the bathroom flooring which had not been fitted correctly. A lesson learnt by us to withhold full payment until satisfied with the job.

I was looking for a plasterer to do my son's room before painting it and so was confused when James approached me for the job. He is a decorator. He said that plastering the walls was unnecessary because my walls were "90% there". He said filling, sanding and painting them would save me money and time so I agreed to hire him. So much went wrong and ultimately he left my walls in a state. Cheekily he asked to be paid before finishing. I fell for it and now he has done a runner!
