Asked for details of location, (even though these were part of the add) and agreed to visit at a set time the next day - but didn’t turn up and didn’t contact me again. Very unsatisfactory.

Very disappointed with this “tradesman” and his work. Things went well initially with Mervyn helping to design our bathroom refurb. The work itself seemed to go reasonably well but he when he was called back to fix a leak in the shower this wasn’t done adequately. More and more silicone was added, without fixing the leak. Eventually, when the shower leaked so badly that water poured through our living room ceiling, this guy wouldn’t even answer his phone. My advice would be to avoid.

Agreed a date for Phil to come and do the work and he never turned up. He contacted me to arrange a second date, I stupidly agreed and he didn't turn up again. No call or message to explain why. Frustrating as I moved my work around to accommodate him. Totally disrespectful and unreliable.

I'd been messed about by a couple of roofers and builders before. Purcells turned up when they said they would (the same day!) priced everything, got the parts and then did the job to a great standard. They weren't difficult to pay and I can't recommend them highly enough
