He charged me £130 for wiring last year and a few days ago we noticed the wire overloaded and melted, very dangerous, contact him today and told me to pay £70 for visual checking, I don't know if he has qualifications to carry out the job

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to clarify that the work was completed around a year ago, and if there had been any installation fault, it would have shown much earlier, not after such a long time. The image provided does not show evidence of a fire, only a disconnected and stripped cable. There are many possible external factors that could cause this issue, such as added load or faulty appliances after the installation.The £70 charge was a standard call-out fee for inspection.I would also like
