we needed one wall plastered, and Mark gave me a great quote, he als recomended having the rest of the kitchen plastered too. So glad we took his advice. First time we've had smooth walls, giving us a blank canvas to work with. Mark quote was prefect, he turned up on time, got on with the job, and left the place spotless. P.T. Electrical have been excellent. The work was for 3 days, they finished by day two. There was no mess, as stated from the initial visit they would clear any debris. Also using their experience it was less costly than initially thought. The value and quality of the work are of high standard. Also they are extremely reliable with great communication, no problems where found but I felt re-assured that P.T Electrical would have dealt with them accordingly.

Garry came to give us a quote the day after our ad appeared on your website - his price was fair so we asked him to do the job. He confirmed the evening before he came, they arrived when they said they would, with no time wasting they got stuck in and papered both rooms within a matter of hours. John did a fabulous job repairing broken red sandstone around a gas boiler flue. He arranged for scaffolding to be erected as the work was 2nd floor. He carried out the work when promised, made a great job of the repair, tidied up well & even arranged a gas engineer to turn on the gas supply. All at fair prices. I would have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone needing a stone mason.He is reliable, friendly and definitely goes the 'extra mile'

A M Contracts did an excellent job of dismantling the wall cleaning the bricks and then rebuilding the wall. Despite disruption caused by the weather I could not fault the the work carried out. We are all really pleased with the rebuilt wall. A number of people have already said what a good job.

After a lack of response from local tradesmen, thankfully Alan Yates was in touch soon after posting the request. He knew over the phone what the most likely faults and remedies would be and arranged to be with us first thing the next morning. Unfortunately it was more complicated than first thought and a new shower was required. Alan returned later that day to fit it and it is working well. Would happily recommend Alan to anyone in a similar situation.

Liam is a very reliable and hardworking contractor. He assisted us with design ideas for our new kitchen and completed all work to a high standard. He gave us a very competitive rate and managed all work through the really terrible December 2010 weather, which caused our kitchen delivery to be set back almost 2 weeks. During this period he managed the other building and installation work ensuring everything was ready for the kitchen delivery. Despite the kitchen only being delivered on 21 Dec he worked right through to Christmas Eve, returning the day after boxing day to complete the kitchen installation. We would have no hesitation in recommending Liam to our friends and family and will certainly consider him for any future work.

The job was a complete en-suite shower room renovation. The existing fixtures and fittings were removed and a complete new suite installed. This requires alterations to one of the walls to increase the size of the room, and plasterwork in the en-suite and adjoining room. The wall and floor were completely tiled and new lighting, shower, basin and WC were fitted. The reason that Wayne got the job was that he appeared very professional from the outset. He arrived right on time, was knowledgeable, willing to provide ideas and provided a detailed written quote and work schedule. He allowed me the option of choosing my own materials, which he would then purchase for me to save me any hassle. He dealt with the suppliers and took delivery of the goods. One other confidence booster is the fact that he didn't take a penny until the job was complete and I was completely satisfied. Once the job began, minor changes to the specification weren't a problem. Wayne accepted changes, and provided verbal cost updates if the change had a cost impact. I would have to say that he is more than fair in terms of the additional cost of his labour and didn't take a mark-up on materials. Throughout the job he was very punctual, and his work ethic was exceptional. He obviously takes great pride in what he does, and it shows in the finished product. I would certainly recommend Wayne.

This small firm delivered as promised and on time. They cleared up everyday after they had finished and at the end of the job everthing was tidy. The job was well done even in the adverse weather they had to tolerate not once did they down tools and seemed to work throughout the day. There were 2 small corrections to make and they returned promptly and sorted them immediately. Their work was of a high standard and the price they charged was very competitive. I would definitely recommend them.
